In our last blog post, we touched on a few of the quirky holidays that have sprung up and could benefit your business. If those two random holidays aren’t beneficial to you and your business, you’re in luck, because there are at least another 400 quirky and fun holidays that you could use to your benefit. Without further ado, here are a few more fun holidays for you to consider using in your direct mail marketing campaign.
March 6 – National Dentists Day
As a dentist, there are so many ways that you can use your direct mail. More often than not, the mail that you’re sending is going to be informative, whether it is a reminder of an appointment or new procedures that you’ve added to your practice, informative mail about your dentist office is always good. Utilizing this day to remind your patients to schedule an appointment for their biannual dentist visit is a great idea.
October 5 – Do Something Nice Day
In a world as big as ours, there are so many ways that you can do something nice for someone else. We hear about it all the time, people buying the car behind them’s coffee in the drive through, donations being made to nonprofit organizations and the like. While these are all great ways that people can do something nice for others, you can do a little something nice by mailing your customers a coupon or provide some sort of offer.
December 8th, 16th & 24th – All About Chocolate
All three of these days have something to do with Chocolate. While chances are that you’re sending out some sort of direct mail around the holidays, these quirky, fun and most importantly delicious days are another great opportunity for you to incorporate some sort of chocolate into your business. December 8th is National Brownie Day, December 16th is National Chocolate Covered Anything Day and December 24th is National Chocolate Day, which gives you plenty of opportunities to drive customers in with some delicious treats.
